 Irish Kaleidoscope Comes to BES/SGC |

Students at Basehor Elementary School and the Sixth Grade Center were invited to experience the culture of Ireland with “Cead Mile Failte” – “A hundred thousand welcomes” from Dearbhail Finnegan and Robin Slater of Irish Kaleidoscope, a program of the Cultural Kaleidoscope. Throughout the assemblies and workshops, students were able to get a glimpse into the history and culture of Ireland through video, stories and music. Pictured above students enjoyed learning how to play the bodhran, a traditional Irish drum, and to Irish broom dance with Slater.
